What you will learn
In your first year, you’ll take courses that Ìýbuild foundational knowledge in plant production and business, including several plant production courses that provide hands-on experience growing plants on our campus farm.
The second year offers a lot of flexibility with options to take elective in areas of horticulture, agronomy, business, engineering, or work integrated learning. Ìý

Students at the Faculty of Agriculture can participate in one of four credit-based, experiential learning/internship courses. These work integrated learning courses provide opportunities to further develop your skills and gain work experience.

Admission requirements
Minimum admission requirements
To be considered for admission to this program, you must meet minimum academic criteria:
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
- Achievement of the minimum average for your program of choice.
- Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course).
Admission to many Ä¢¹½AV programs is competitive. This means that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
