Grades

Grades are used toÌýdetermineÌýyour status in your degree program, toÌýallocateÌýawards and otherÌýhonoursÌýand will be considered by graduate schools, prospectiveÌýemployersÌýand others.Ìý

Academic standing

Your academic standing shows how you’re doing in your program. It’s based on your grades and GPA and helps determine if you’re in good standing or need support.

Appeals and waivers

During your time at Dal, you might need to request an exception to an academic rule or have one of your grades reassessed.

Transcripts

Transcripts are an official copy of your academic record. They include all courses you’ve taken, the grades you earned, your GPA, and any degrees or credentials awarded.

You can request the following letters and confirmations from Dal:
