Information for partner universities

As a partner institution to Ä¢¹½AV, this is information that you will need to know for your students coming on exchange.

Application deadlines

Feb. 1: Students coming to Ä¢¹½AV for the summer term

May 1: Students coming to Ä¢¹½AV for the fall term (September–December) or for the fall and winter terms (September–April)

Oct. 1: Students coming to Ä¢¹½AV for the winter term (January–April)

For Winter applicants: Because current Ä¢¹½AV students can register for courses as early as March, we strongly advise your students to apply early so that they are able to register for the classes they want.

Please make sure you are aware of other important dates at Ä¢¹½AV.

Admission process

If your institution has signed a department- or faculty-specific agreement with Ä¢¹½AV, please contact the exchange coordinator in the relevant department or faculty for details on the admission process.

If your institution has signed a university-wide agreement with Ä¢¹½AV, please direct your nominated students to the ´¡±è±è±ô²âÌý±·´Ç·É  section of this website for access to the application portal/form.

Application

Students are required to upload the following documents with their application form:

  • Official transcript (PDF file only)

  • A nomination letter from their home university is not required but can be submitted if they have been provided with one (PDF file only)

Recommended arrival time

All exchange students must attend our international student orientation, hosted twice a year by the International Centre. Generally, orientation takes place 5–6 days before the start of the fall term, and 2–3 days before the start of the winter term.

On-campus housing

Students coming to Ä¢¹½AV on exchange for the fall term only (September–December) are not eligible to stay in residence on campus and will need to find off-campus housing. However, exchange students coming for both the fall and winter terms, or just the winter term, may apply for a room in residence.
