Funding for graduate students

For the academic year 2026/2027 we will most likely be unable to offer scholarships to incoming doctoral students, due to a drastic cutting of the University's funding of graduate scholarships. Our students will typically be employed as a Teaching Assistant, but these sources of funding are generally not sufficient to cover the entire cost of the program.  We therefore encourage students to explore alternative sources of funding for their graduate studies. All those who apply by December 31 are automatically considered for funding.
