Join us for a talk by Michele Byers (Professor of Women & Gender Studies, Atlantic Canada Studies, Saint Mary鈥檚 University).
"Who doesn't like television? Maybe my parents who, in the 1970s, kept our single black & white portable, closeted (literally) in a spare room for all but a handful of network programming hours a week. That deprivation set me on a journey in which I would make a career of watching, thinking, and writing about TV, including not only Jewish TV, but Jewish Canadian TV. Sit with me, and we'll reminisce about great moments in Jewish television鈥攃ome prepared to share!"
