Master of Marine Management
The Master of Marine Management (MMM) is aÌý 16-month, course-based, professional, interdisciplinary graduate program at Ä¢¹½AV designed for future leaders in ocean and coastal management. Master of Fisheries Science
The Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) is a 16‑month, course‑based professional graduate program launching in 2026 (pending MPHEC approval). Designed in collaboration with Ä¢¹½AV’s Departments of Biology and Mathematics & Statistics and Fisheries and Oceans Canada, the program prepares students for applied careers in fisheries science, stock assessment, data analytics, fisheries biology, and management. It is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals seeking advanced training that blends classroom learning, intensive field courses, applied projects, and mentorship from fisheries experts. Interdisciplinary PhD
The Interdisciplinary PhD (IDPhD) program at Ä¢¹½AV enables highly motivated students to tackle complex marine challenges by blending methods and topics from multiple disciplines. Supported by MAP faculty, candidates develop a customized research program, collaborate with leading experts, and pursue innovative research questions in fields like ocean policy, fisheries, conservation, and other relevant fields.ÌýApplicants are encouraged to carefully consider their research questions, funding plans, and supervisory team before applying.
