ĢAV the summer school
The world is undergoing a profound digital shift, impacting every industry and aspect of society. The first-ever Summer School on Digital Transformation, offered by the College of Digital Transformation at ĢAV from August 31st to September 2nd, 2026, provides a unique opportunity to get to grips with this evolution.
This three-day intensive program aims to provide participants with a strategic understanding of digital transformation, covering both its foundational concepts and practical implementation. Through a series of keynote talks, live in-person lectures, interactive workshops, and engaging discussions, you will connect with leading industry experts and renowned ĢAV faculty. This year's curriculum will cover the following themes:
Day 1 (August 31): Strategy, People and Leadership
Day 2 (September 1): Technology and Processes
Day 3 (September 2): Execution and Future Trends
Participants will examine the key technologies driving digital transformation projects, learn effective frameworks and leadership strategies for managing such initiatives, and explore methods for establishing a digital-first culture. The curriculum is designed to help you develop skills in data analytics for strategic decision-making, critically consider ethical implications, design innovative digital business models for value creation, and gain a forward-looking perspective on strategic planning, emerging trends, sustainability, and critical challenges.
This event highlights our commitment to creating critical thinkers and practitioners ready to lead and navigate the complexities of digital transformation in Nova Scotia and beyond.
