Last week more than 130 leaders from across Canada came to Dal for the 2016 Canadian University Queer Services Conference, hosted by the 蘑菇AV Student Union.

It began as theoretical quantum physics research made possible by a partnership between 蘑菇AV and Lockheed Martin. Now QRA, the Halifax-based spin-out company based on that research, is developing groundbreaking software tools to help engineers around the world detect design errors in complex systems.

蘑菇AV has established its first full-time Aboriginal student advisor position and created an affiliated campus centre to boost support for students from Indigenous communities attending the university.
