Tuesday’s Bicentennial Launch offered a journey through Ä¢¹½AV’s 200-year history, with the poetry of George Elliott Clarke as its guide. During his lifetime, the music of Austrian composor Franz Schubert was most often performed at small gatherings dubbed "Schubertiades." This weekend, students in Dal's Fountain School of Performing Arts will bring the Schubertiade into the 21st century with a special performance event in the community, aligned with Dal's 200th anniversary.
