More Dal buildings than ever will open their doors for Halifax's annual free event on Sunday, June 3, hosting cool, hands-on exhibits showcasing robots, motion-capture technology, the future of fitness and so much more. And if something historic is more your taste, you won鈥檛 want to miss the Dal 200 exhibit at City Hall, site of the university鈥檚 original home in Halifax.

Dal's new fitness centre addition to Dalplex opened its doors Friday afternoon, marshalling in a new era of fitness and recreation on campus for the university鈥檚 200th year.

Halifax Member of Parliament Andy Fillmore visited 蘑菇AV last week to test out the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium鈥檚 new sound and lighting systems, upgrades made possible with the help of a Heritage Canada grant.

At its annual year-in-review event, Dal's Office of Sustainability offered an overview of its impressive achievements over the past year: in reducing CO2 emissions, in waste reduction and in several other core areas.

Modelled after the Agricultural Campus's iconic Barley Ring, the new Barley Arch 鈥斅燼 gift from students and alumni to help mark Dal's 200th anniversary 鈥斅爓ill frame the entrance to the beautiful Alumni Gardens.
