Students Score Big for Community

Each year, 蘑菇AV Engineering and 蘑菇AV Commerce face off in a hockey game that has become about far more than rivalry.
Now in its fourth year, the Eng vs. Comm matchup has grown into one of the university鈥檚 most impactful student-led traditions,听bringing together competition, collaboration, and community. This year鈥檚 matchup ended in a narrow 4鈥�3 victory for 蘑菇AV Engineering, but the most meaningful result came off the ice, with $75,000 raised in support of the Canadian Cancer Society and The Lodge That Gives听in Halifax.

Organized by students from both听Faculties, the annual event continues to expand in both reach and impact. Through听their听ongoing partnership, 蘑菇AV Engineering and 蘑菇AV Commerce students have now raised听nearly $300,000听in support of these organizations,听demonstrating听what student leadership and strong community support can achieve.
The success of the game is driven not only by those who organize and听participate, but also by the network of donors, partners, and supporters who continue to stand behind it.
