Working towards an accessible Ä¢¹½AV!

The Student Accessibility Centre (Halifax) and the Student Success Centre (Truro) are Ä¢¹½AV’s centres of expertise on student access, inclusion, and accommodation support. WeÌýwork collaboratively with Ä¢¹½AV and King's students, faculty, and staff to create and sustain an inclusive educational environment for students. The Centre administers the university-wide Student Accommodation PolicyÌýacross all programs and faculties.

How we help:

  • Facilitate access to Ä¢¹½AV courses and programs, facilities, services, and activitiesÌý
  • Identify classroom, exam and other accommodations (e.g. co-op) to support your learning
  • Ensure reasonable accommodations are available and implemented
  • Support funding applications designated for students with disabilities
  • Connect you with on- and off-campus resources to enhance your success and wellbeing

New to Ä¢¹½AV?
